Day 8: First Hokies Game!

Outfitted in my Hokiest outfit daddy and I watched VT win over the University of Tennessee 37-14 in the Chic-Fil-A bowl. It sure was sweet experiencing my first taste of Hokie Nation but I slept through most of the game!

Day 6 Meeting the Neighbors

Today the Smigielski-Vettese or as daddy calls them the Smigteses came over to visit. It was nice to meet them especially their son Joey 'Cheeks' since apparently we are going to the prom together (hes only 6 months older than me!)

Day 5 Meeting Grandma Pap Aunt Megan and Uncle Nathan

So today I got to meet my other set of grandparents and aunt and uncle. Here I am being admired by Grandma Tischler and Pap.

I was born just in time for Aunt Megan and Uncle Nathan to still be in the east coast so they got to come and visit too! They live in L.A. which I hear is very far away.

Here I am with Grandma modeling a SWEET blanket that Auntie Jean made for me. She also sent me something from the University of Tennessee...underwear I can poop on during the Chic-Fil-a Bowl! GO HOKIES!

Day 4 Friends visit and Steelers game

So it's a Sunday in the winter so daddy introduced me to his favorite pastime...watching football! I will have to wait until Thursday to cheer on the Hokies but today I could start rooting for the Steelers!

During the game Daddy's friend Christine brought over my friend Leylah so we could meet outside the belly! I can't wait to have fun with Leylah as we grow up together!

Day 3 My first doctors appointment

I decided I didn't like sleeping in my crib so daddy and I hung out all night in my room. This resulted in daddy looking FABULOUS in the morning.

After that we went to the doctors office for my first check up. The doctor agreed with everyone else that I am perfect in every way!

Day 2 - Christmas!

The day started after a long night for mommy and daddy when I decided I didn't want to sleep in the bassinet I only wanted to be held. So daddy took the opportunity to have a photo shoot with me laying on his legs.

The doctors said Mommy and I were A-OK to head home and we both decided we would be more comfortable there so we took them up on their offer.

Here's me all bundled up to leave the hospital. The blanket over was made for mommy by her Aunt Amy when she was little and the penguin was my very first Christmas present from Daddy!

When I got home from the hospital I got to meet my new best bud Maz! He likes to sniff me a lot and give me kisses on my head.

He also decided to lay in the middle of our first family portrait.

Then Aunt Catie and Uncle Brian came over for Christmas dinner so I got to hang out with them.

Since the whole swine flu thing turned out to be hooie Ninny Lynnie and Pop got to come visit me at the hospital! That's all for today but I'll be back tomorrow!
