Day 66: Busy Saturday

Today was a busy day. Mom and I ran some errands to Costco and Target for some things we might need. Then Uncle Brian and Aunt Catie came over to hang out with me. They let mom run to the grocery store without me.
This is a shot from my very short nap - a kitten nap because it wasn't long enough to be called a cat nap.
Mail for me came too! New outfits from Aunt Jane the Great and Uncle Charlie. I can't wait to wear these new things - just in time for St. Patrick's Day! Thank you! =)

Day 61 Grama and Pap Visit!

Grama and Pap came to visit for the weekend! We had a lot of fun hanging out and I told them a lot of stories. I also got to meet their crazy dog Bailey! Pap told me all about his adventure to Iceland and Grama and I discussed our plans for when she comes back when mommy goes back to work!

Day 62: Playdate

Today I had a playdate with my friend, Leylah. We even were holding hands!
Our mommies gave us a bath in her "bubble ocean." She was so nice to share her tub with me.

Day 56: Bath Time

Tonight was bathtime with daddy and my new bath chair - it lets me use the whole bathtub "ocean" instead of just a sink or baby tub.

Day 53: Daytona 500 & Valentine's Day

Today I watched my first Daytona 500 with daddy at Grandma and Pop's house. I got plenty of naps in during the race since it was continually stopping because of track repairs. Now that football season is over, I guess we'll move into daddy's next favorite activity for weekends - NASCAR.

I also celebrated my first Valentine's Day. I wore an awesome outfit from Gramma and Pap. I also received a great gift from Uncle Nathan and Aunt Megan - a Disney princess onesie for when it gets warmer. Thanks for helping me celebrate.

Day 52: Daddy's Here

Mom and I came to NC to escape the snow in Northern Virginia. We woke up this morning to about 5-6 inches here in New Bern.

Luckily daddy's plane got into New Bern without a problem. Before we went to pick up daddy at the airport, we had some photo time.

I was so excited to see daddy! I stayed awake in the car on the way to the airport so that I could greet him with wide eyes. I was laying down on a new wrap that daddy got me in Africa.

We finished off the night at the Sting Ray Cafe in New Bern with Grandma and Pop. I decided that tonight I didn't want to sleep in my car seat during dinner. There were four of them and one of me - so they could take turns holding me.

Day 51: Bath Time!

I had a nice bath in Grandma's sink again today. It was wonderful - nice and relaxing. After my shower mom was drying me off, and I decided to pee all over her and her pajamas. I thought it was so funny - mommy didn't! Here I am looking serious before the peeing incident.

Day 50: I love my doggy - and he tolerates me....

I love my doggie, Maz - especially when he is laying on the couch next to mommy and I get a good handful of his fur. Let me tell you how much he dislikes me when I do that. Maz is a little bit jealous of me right now since he has to share his favorite person with me - Pop. He did sit nicely for me to hang out with him today.

Very Chatty

Day 49: Cold Windy Day

It was really cold and windy in NC today, so I was dressed nice and warm in my outfit from the Schneiders. Grandma had a luncheon and party to go to, so we hung out with Pop this afternoon. We went for a ride downtown to return his library book and stopped at Sonic for mom to get a cherry limeade. The highlight of my day was getting to talk to daddy on the computer today. I heard his voice and was chatty for him. I can't wait for him to get here.

Day 48: All Dressed Up

I wore tights for the first time today. They even had built in shoes! =)
Our outing of the day was a stop at Grandma's garden club meeting to say hello to some of her friends. They were all impressed with my outfit, especially the polka dots. Thanks to Jeff and Tricia for my adorable outfit.

Day 47: Went for a Long Walk

We went for a very long walk this afternoon with Grandma, Pop, Mommy and Maz.

I bundled up in my snowsuit from the Brooks Family that matches my buddy, Leylah's. I spent most of my walk in my cousin, Patrick's old stroller. The rest of the walk I spent cuddled up next to mom in the carrier. It was a nice long walk - good for all of us.

Maz surprisingly made the entire walk with us without laying down. Part of it had to do with his 3 treats along the way. One from the mailman (who carries dog treats in the car), one from a nice lady driving in the neighborhood (who keeps treats in her car) and one from my new buddy Alex's mom. Alex happens to be a 130lb golden retriever! He makes my dog look small!

Day 45: Saturday in NC

I have a new bouncy chair at Grandma and Pop's house which is super fun. It not only bounces, but vibrates too.

So serious...
She really is happy - just puts on a face for the camera. Pop says I don't like the paparazzi.

I decided to spit up on myself, my clothes, mommy and mommy's clothes so it was BATH TIME! Grandma had cleaned out her supersized kitchen sink so that she could give me a nice bath in there. She has been waiting to do that since she built the house a few years ago. She told the builder she wanted a sink she could "bathe a grandchild in." I enjoyed every second of it.

Day 44: My New Home Away from Home

Pop set up my portacrib in my room in NC. Look - already has beds decorated for when I'm a big girl. I slept like a dream last night, shocking my mommy.

Notice this is the third outfit I own with cupcakes on it - amazing isn't it. I have quite the extensive wardrobe!
