Day 159: Hanging with Pap & Swimming!

I got to play with Pap before he had to leave this morning on a plane. We stretched since I had just woken up and needed some exercise.
I wore my Hokie Bird outfit just for daddy! I miss you Dad.
This afternoon I got to play in my new pool in the backyard. Maz was very jealous the pool was not for him!
This is going to be a GREAT summer!

Day 158: Cereal with Gramma

Today Gramma got the chance to try to get some cereal in my mouth.I'm very good at spitting it back out - not too great at keeping it in.
I wonder if they know how bland this stuff tastes.
I did try to meet Gramma halfway from the bowl - look at how far I was leaning over.
Gramma thought it was funny watching me spit it out!

Day 155: Bath time with Grandma

One of my favorite things to do with Grandma is bathtime!I like it when she lets me sit in the water and kick around.
Smiling for the camera.
Splash splash splash.
Looking at my bath chair.
Swimming - Grandma lets me swim in the bathtub just like I swim in the pool at her house.
So flexible...

Bathtime had to come to an end, but I did have fun drying off (and eating my towel).

Day 155: Preparing to Crawl One Day

I've been hanging out on my tummy alot more lately. I like to pick my head up and look around. Tonight I was looking at my big buddy Maz.
Laughing at mommy for taking so many pictures.

Day 151: So Sleepy

This morning while Mommy and Daddy were folding laundry for Daddy's trip, I played a little bit too hard and crashed still standing in the exersaucer. Note I used my Hokie Bird toy as a pillow!
Then after a LONG day of shopping, I crashed with Daddy before dinner. I've been a sleepy girl today.

Day 150: Busy Saturday

Today Mommy and I met Cameron for lunch in Fredericksburg. We had a nice lunch and then went for a walk through downtown Fredericksburg. After lunch we stopped in Woodbridge to meet Ms. Tish. Garrett held me for a little while and thought I was SO small. We missed Ms. Savannah, but hopefully I'll get to meet her soon. I did get to see her guinea pigs though. Hopefully we'll get to see them in their new home in Seattle before the end of the year.

Day 143: First swim

When we got back from downtown Mommy and Ninny took me out for a swim! Mommy got me a nice 3 foot circular pool and I proceeded to splash around in it for a while. Can't wait to get in a real pool! You can see all the pictures here.

Day 143: Downtown New Bern

Today we went into downtown New Bern so Daddy could take some pictures of the cars at the antique car show (you can see the car pictures here). Here we are having a great time while he threw me up into the air over and over again. Daddy and I thought it was so much fun - but we were making mommy nervous. Here we are posing with the Riverbend bear.
While daddy was taking pictures, I hung out with Grandma and Pop down by the water enjoying the nice breeze.

Day 142: Best Friends

Here I am with my best friend, Maz. He decided that he HAD to lie down on the blanket with me today.
Luckily for me, Maz doesn't mind when I find his fur and give it a little love tug.
I also tried to force him to sharing his stuffed football, since he thought I should share the stuffed Jo Jo clown that Patrick gave me.

Day 137: My BOB and I

Mom put together my BOB stroller - which is really nice when she tries to walk me and Maz alone.I like holding onto the little pockets while mom pushes me through Franklin Farm.
When I get a little bigger, Daddy can run with me in my BOB.

Day 136: Mother's Day

Today was Mommy's first Mother's Day. Daddy and I let her sleep in a little late and then I met her in bed with my Mommy's little sweetie shirt and a rose from the backyard. Daddy helped me make her breakfast with a brand new waffle iron he picked up for me on the way home from work. I also got her a picture framed of the two of us and a bracelet with my name on it and all three of our birthstones! She was so happy and thankful for such a wonderful day.

This is the first "handmade" gift I have done for Mommy. Ms. Mahin helped me make it for her with my foot (flower) at school on Friday.

Day 134 My first wedding!

Here I am being a great little girl and sleeping through the whole ceremony!

I got to meet a TON of mommy and daddy's friends at the wedding. Here I am hanging out with Flinn and Sherry.

Dan and Laurie flew in from Miami. Can't wait until they move back up to DC!

I got to meet mommy's college roommate Scott and his wife Chelsea. The invited me to come visit them in Raleigh!

I got to congratulate the newly weds Andy and Julia.

Heather and I had another raucous good time!

Chris wanted to meet me but only shook my hand, wasn't too keen on holding me!

Thanks Scott for helping ruin another great pic!
